Delmelia Dunn explains poinsettias are hard to rebloom at home and most plants should be discarded after flowering. If attempted, withhold water after blooming, store dry plants cool, prune in spring, repot and provide bright light, then enforce long nights starting Oct 1 to induce flowering by mid winter.
