Funeral services for Charlie A. Helms 69 of Clifton were held at Zion United Church of Christ Womack with Rev Fred G Weltge officiating He was born Sept 12 1899 and lived in Burton Garnersville and Womack He worked at Clifton Food Market for 20 years and left a family of a wife Christine Braune a son Calvert Helms and four grandchildren Survivors include his wife a daughter and three brothers Pallbearers included grandsons and local men. Burial followed at Clifton Cemetery

Otto C. Eckert, 83, of Clifton, died Tuesday morning at the local hospital. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Zion United Church of Christ in Womack, conducted by Rev. Paul Kluge. Burial was in Clifton Cemetery.
