Local Easter Seal Appeal Begins March 1
The 1968 Easter Seal Appeal starts March 1 and runs through April 14 led by Bosque County representative Helen C. Aars. The state wide drive funds treatment and rehab for crippled children and adults in Texas, supporting 21 centers and serving about 17 622 people last year with rising costs anticipated for 1968.

James Holloway Receives Education Service Certificate
Staff Sergeant James K. Holloway, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Holloway of Clifton Texas, earned a Sergeant a ward for off duty education in the U S Air Force. He serves as administrative supervisor in SAC the intercontinental missile and bomber force. He studied at East Texas State Teachers College Kilgore Junior College and New London High School. He is working toward a B S degree in psychology at the Municipal University of Omaha. His wife Beverly is the daughter of Mr and Mrs John Subasky of Monroeville Pa.

Taxpayers under 65 and seniors face new 1 percent AGI drug deduction, 3 percent floor on medical costs, and half the medical insurance premium deductible up to 150 dollars per return. Separate returns allow up to 150 per person. Premiums for life or disability coverage and certain family policies remain non deductible.
