Lake Whitney Anglers Report Fresh Sandies and Crappie
Lake Whitney yielded good catches this week as sandies schooled in some spots and were caught off the bottom in others. Crappie were moving into shallow water and two trotliners filled their lines with large crappie in 10 to 12 feet. A bass fisherman landed 11 blacks, including a 6 3/4 pounder. The lake level stood at 521.46, about half a foot below normal.

The wholesale millwork company serves a five state region with offices in Fort Worth and San Antonio. Helms has 20 years in building materials work with O. E.
