Mr. White born May 13 1888 in Whitesboro Texas died Friday night aged 79 at Goodall Witcher Hospital. Survived by wife Goldie daughter Mrs Marvin White two Fort Worth brothers George and Horace, one R B White of Waxahachie, one sister Mrs Ethel Rhinefield Wichita Falls. Funeral held Clifton Funeral Home Chapel 2 p.m. Sunday Feb 25 with Rev Joe Stevens officiating. Interment Clifton Memorial Park. Mr White a Laguna Park Baptist Church member. Pallbearers Watt Cole Earl Thomas Tommy Allen Rex Brooks A S Elred Earl Allen. Mr White admired nature and gardening.
Humble Oil and Refining Company promotes Farman A. Grimm to Exploration Geophysicist in the Houston Exploration Department in recognition of his accomplishments. The ship has seen action off Vietnam and has just completed 100 days of overhaul at Long Beach Naval Shipyard. Sea trials and refresher training follow as the Princeton, flagship for the Seventh Fleet Amphibious Ready Group, resumes deployment.

Bosque County committee completes its portion of a statewide study on vocational rehabilitation services in Texas. The aim is to have services available to all handicapped Texans by 1975, with regional meetings held February 9 and a final state report to Governor Connally in July 1968.
