Brewsters Attend Funeral in Merkel for Son-in-law Tom Jeffries
Mr and Mrs A J Brewster were in Merkel last week for funeral services for their son in law Tom Jeffries who died in a Kansas City Missouri hospital. The Brewsters daughter returned home with them for a short visit. Karen Callan of NTSU Denton is spending holidays with her parents. James Warren of Fort Riley Kansas is spending Christmas furlough with his parents.

Clifton Lutheran Sunset Home celebrated staff devotion with a 3 to 4 p.m. open house at Administrator C Willard Stromwall’s residence. About 140 guests attended as the Sunset Home Board distributed gifts and bonuses, with board members and affiliated families in attendance.

Mrs Hans Jenson Dies In Dublin
Mrs. Hans Jenson 80 of Dublin died Thursday morning December 15 in a Dublin hospital after months of illness. Funeral services were held December 16 at Harrell Funeral Home Dublin with interment in Memorial Cemetery between Dublin and Stephenville. Surviving are two daughters Mrs. W B Raley and Mrs Dorothy Watson two sons H P Jenson Jr and Darwin Jenson one brother Jap Ragsdale one sister Mrs Marvin Tidwell nine grandchildren one great grandchild and four nieces and several nephews. Members of the family express sympathy to friends in their bereavement.

After the business session, members and sponsor Mrs M B Jameson visited the Krueger Home for Cerebral Palsied Children and the Geriatric Center in Meridian to sing Christmas carols.
