An Austin resident testifies Argotane cured his twelve years of stomach disorders, constipation, gas, and kidney pain after brutal earlier doctor visits. He took nine bottles, reports near-complete relief and ability to eat without misery, and promotes Clifton drug store availability. Also notes a bill inquiry on triplets and University of Chicago push for open degrees, plus local 4-H pantry efforts and a Dec 20 tag day for Home Relief.
Seven tons of barnyard manure were sold to two parcels by Arnold Spitzer a 4 H boy from Garneraville. The manure increased yield by ten bushels per acre versus adjacent corn. At harvest the value would have been two dollars per ton for the manure. Rain could have improved solubility and plant uptake and the fertilized field will likely benefit next year from the remaining manure in the soil.
The oldest auto in Texas is owned by Mr. Harry Olsen of San Antonio. It is a one cylinder Oldamobile bought in 1901 and can run under its own power at 12 to 14 miles per hour. Gas mileage varies, with occasional 20 miles per gallon noted, though not consistently.
