A play titled An Old Fashioned Mother was shown by the Norse community Young People’s Society. The school’s basketball teams traveled to Valley Mills with the boys winning 16 to 8 and the girls losing 43 to 10. The Christmas program is set for Tuesday December 23 before holidays. Miss Emily York visited the school Friday.

Bosque County prepares for the Fort Worth Fat Stock Show with record feed, better quality livestock, and a carload of baby beeves in the club boy class. Charley Miles of Mosheim heads the 4 H effort feeding 30 Hereford calves. The move allows club entrants to combine calves for a county carrot while competing in open classes and dressing percentage contests. Local breeders plan carloads of hogs and fat lambs, with Bosque County Day sought for the exposition.
