A lively edate on a bond issue dominated the program with Arnold and Ferwin Boltter and WU Haface and Boney Moebar as proponents and opponents. A free Wel tweedy night is planned for January 1052. Grandmother Lammert, mother of Mr Henry Lammert, died after a stroke, aged near 80, with services and condolences observed by the community. The Woments Club met Tuesday afternoon at Mrs Ola Merle Anther’s home despite threatening weather. Cocoa and cake were served.
The OLAP Lutheran Church announces services on Sunday December 4 at 1 oclock in the Emrich Language and 2:80 in the Brick Church. Mra Louie Lammert died December 11, 1980 in Brenham Texas at age 85 after living in Galveston and Brenham. She was the widow of Monty Lammert and had previously made her home in the Garnergeitio community. The obituary notes a devout Christian faith and references her years in America.
Weather delays the December 5 dedication of the new school building to December 12 with a single address by Mr. Rogers and a canceled Rally Day program. A comedy drama is planned for December 18 at 7 p.m. and jurors and marriage licenses are listed along with court outcomes and local notices.

A very large crowd attended Clifton’s trades day event on a Wednesday with ideal weather. Merchants reported full activity and many expected crowds to return for the December 2 session and Christmas Eve events. Prizes, cash, and sacks of flour and sugar were distributed to numerous residents, including Thelma Patterson and Herbert Scho, with 4-H Club notes reporting a regular meeting and Christmas craft ideas.
The Clifton couple planned a public nuptial event announced on October nineteenth with friends and relatives in attendance at a local ceremony. The bridegroom Melvon Crate and the bride were greeted by many well wishers as they entered marriage, with a note of appreciation to supporters.
Lena Ot and Floen Aint We finished last week with class grades and numerous visits. Teachers and families shared Christmas plays and gatherings at Center Hill, with ott and Whitney families, Mr. and Mrs. Ott, Mr. and Mrs. Newcom, and many others hosting and attending events at the school and homes.
