Meridian Couple’s Son-In-Law Becomes Air Force Navigator
Second Lieutenant Thomas D. Childs son of Mr. and Mrs. James H. Childs of Route 2 Muncie Indiana and son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. H. T. Bass of Meridian has graduated from the U S Air Force navigator bombardier training at Mathew Air Force Base California. He is a Center High School Selma Indiana graduate and Ball State College alumnus who will receive further aircrew training before reporting to Carswell Air Force Base Fort Worth for duty.

On Saturday December 19 and 9 AM, Mrs T N Foster Mrs Robert Willmann and Mrs Louis Thiele 4-H Adult Leaders launch a new 4 H Sewing Class for girls ages 9 to 21 at Clifton City Hall. Walnut Springs HD Club hosts December meeting with Mrs Hannah Belcher REA Home Economist presenting films on indoor and outdoor Christmas lighting and safety. Attendees include members from Iredell Town and Country Morgan and Walnut Springs clubs plus guests. Visitors from Lewisville Dallas and Milton G Dahl family spent the weekend with relatives.
