Tax officials schedule face-to-face tax help in Meridian
State Comptroller Bob Bullock announces a representative from the Waco office will visit Meridian on December 14 to assist Bosque County taxpayers. Enforcement Officer Homer L. Burch will meet locals at the Bosque County Court House from 8 a.m. to 12 noon to answer state tax questions and help with forms.

Family Night Christmas Party At VFW Post 8553
VFW Post 8553 and its Ladies Auxiliary host Family Night with their annual Christmas Party on Saturday December 11. Each person brings a gift under two dollars for exchange. Fried chicken dinner at 7 pm provided by the Post. Families bring a vegetable dish and salad or dessert. The Veterans Administration’s construction appropriation for fiscal year 1977 is 497.7 million dollars.
