Clifton Welcomes House Move From Iraan for Smiths
The Smiths moved their Clifton residence from Iraan to Clifton traveling a 300 mile route via San Angelo Brownwood and Hamilton to bypass bridges. The two story home, cut in half for transport, arrived just before Thanksgiving and was set on a new foundation with the remaining assembly to follow. The property includes a living room den three bedrooms kitchen dining room and two baths. The Smiths previously bought the Clifton store and a home on North Avenue before purchasing land on West Hackberry Street.

Mrs. Harley Harrison aged 52 of Cranfills Gap was found dead by her husband on Friday morning November 26. A preliminary autopsy indicated a cranial subdural hematoma as the cause. Funeral services were held November 27 at St Olaf Lutheran Church Cranfills Gap with interment there.
