Farm Bureau Presents Check To Clifton Firemen
A $52.50 check from the local and Texas Farm Bureau was given to Jodie Seljos of Clifton Volunteer Fire Department to reimburse training expenses from a fire control program at Texas A and M University. The event was part of the 35th annual Texas Firemen's Training School in July 1924, with about 140 volunteers from 78 counties attending. The Engineering Extension Service and Texas Education Agency organized the school providing instruction on fire control topics.
