Immanuel Lutheran Ladies Aid Meet Hosts With Tea
The Woman's Missionary League met April 1 in the Immanuel Lutheran Church basement with Mrs. Woodrow Schneider as hostess. President Mrs. W. B. Oswald opened with a hymn and prayer led by Mrs. Alton Aars. Alfie reported on the Salem church event and the local workshop. A birthday shoutout honored several members and the group closed with prayers and refreshments.

Mrs L Hunter visited Grand Prairie to stay with her son and daughter in law Mr and Mrs Cari Ry Mad and children Ken and Nyla Mrs Ry ted, daughter of Mr and Mrs WE Reb Zuchike of Clifton, has been in a Grand Prairie hospital for four weeks Mrs Zewhikeslee spent time with her daughter and family Mr Rysted came to Clifton for his mother Sunday Mrs Paul Watson Arlington daughter of Mr and Mrs L C Holloway underwent surgery in the local hospital Theressday of last week She entered the hospital the previous Wednesday Mrs Watsons son Terry has been cared for by his grandparents Edwin Linderud who has been in Veterans Hospital Waco spent Fri to Mon here with wife and son Ronnie He returned to hospital for further tests and treatment Mr and Mrs Don Howard and daughter Ethel hosted visitors Joe Howard of Houston a son of the Don Howards
