Clifton High clinched first place in the district golf meet with a 36 hole qualifying round. Team members Wilson Collins Ralph Collins Frank Tyler Larry Grimland and another teammate posted top scores led by Ralph Collins with a 746 strokes. The Waldorf College A Cappella Choir of Forest City Iowa has been directed by Professor Odvin Hagen since 1928. His choirs have toured the United States and in 1962 Hagen led a Waldorf tour to California including a 20 000 audience Easter Sunrise Service at the Hollywood Bowl.
