About half a million motorists face license revocation after November 1 unless new operator licenses surge nationwide. Two Injured in Rural Car Collision Near Clare
Last Thursday evening Mr and Mrs Frank Perron and their six year old granddaughter Madonna Dick were in a northbound car that collided with Frank Nevins eastbound vehicle two miles south and one mile east of Clare. Mrs Perron and Madonna were injured while the Perron car and its occupants suffered minor injuries.

Herrick Man Dies After Monthlong Illness
George W. Armstrong 85 a Herrick resident and early Michigan settler died September 18 1931 after a monthlong illness at his home. He came to Michigan 1868 and later moved to Herrick with Emma Seeley they had four children. Services were held at the home and Baptist church with interment in Cherry Grove cemetery.
