William Wasson Fatally Injured At Sheridan Farm
William Earnest Wasson a longtime Clare county resident died after a plank slipped at a silo top causing a 35 foot fall. He died at Mt Pleasant hospital the day after the accident. He was 67 and survived by wife Alta and three children with four grandchildren. Funeral at Doherty in Clare with Rev. Kleinhardt.

Coleman Boy Injured Riding Cow Near Coleman
Lester Randall Jr twelve year old son of Mr and Mrs Lester Randall of near Coleman was injured Wednesday evening last week when a cow he tried to ride turned her head and struck him above the eye with her horn. He was taken to Dr H S Ballard where several stitches closed the wound and he is recovering, narrowly avoiding loss of sight in the eye.
