Mrs John High Dies at Flint September
Mrs John High died in Flint last week after a brief illness. Funeral services were held Sunday with burial in Ovid beside a son. Survived by husband a daughter Mrs Edward Reichart a granddaughter and great grandson all in Flint a brother and sister Mr and Mrs John High formerly ran the Racket store here. They moved to Flint twenty one years ago. Mrs W P Lewis a close friend visited from Thursday to Monday.

Guild Begins Year’s Work With New Vim

County Red Cross Appeals for South County Sufferers

A Sunday night lightning strike destroyed three barns on the Adam Roy farm, three miles north and one mile east of Mt. Pleasant. Neighbors saved adjacent structures as losses exceed 4000 dollars with 1800 dollars insured.
