Clare County Fair Board plans to apply for a $792000 federal grant to fund a new grandstand and renovations. The County Board of Commissioners approved $7500 for McFlure and MacMillian to prepare basic grant plans under the Public Works Act, which offers 100 percent funding if approved and includes electrical systems transformers and racetrack work.
