Clare School Board Keeps Vending Machines At High School
The Clare School Board approved continuing soft drink and candy machines at the high school with plans to improve item selections such as fruit juices and nuts. They also approved a sixth hour study hall, a driving privilege form, an interscholastic athletic handbook, adding Girls Volleyball, and flu shots for staff. The Clare High School Homecoming runs October 25 to 30 with a spirit week led by the cheerleaders, a snake dance and bonfire on Thursday, and a Friday assembly at 1 30 p m announcing Homecoming Queen and King. Parade follows at 2 30 p m. Queen candidates include Cathy Johnson Shelia Beatty Shelley Bindschatel and Julie Lloyd with three underclass representatives. Openings for parade remain at the high school office. The football game Friday features Clare vs Chippewa Hills.
