Austin Trumble Dies at Ninety in Farwell Community
Longtime resident Austin Trumble born August 31 1853 near Chesaning Saginaw county died October 7 1943 at age ninety years one month seven days at his Farwell home. He was a type setter and proof reader in Michigan and Clare counties, married Elva Pettibone in 1873 and left three children six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Doherty Funeral Home Clare with Rev Charles Kleinhardt officiating. interment in Cherry Grove Cemetery.

Martha Krueger Dies of Heart Attack in Clare
Mrs Martha Krueger of Farwell died of a heart attack Saturday afternoon in Clare while in town shopping with her daughter and family. She was 85, born Martha DeForest in Port Huron Michigan and had lived in the area since 1911. She married three times including Pye and Larkins, with numerous children. her final husband Herman Krueger died earlier. Continued on Page Seven.
