Clare couple escape injury in auto wreck near Gladwin
Mr and Mrs J E Doherty returning to Clare from West Branch last Saturday night escaped serious harm after their car plunged into a four foot ditch six miles north of Gladwin on a county road at about 50 mph. A nearby farm girl raised the alarm as help arrived from a Golden Wedding celebration. Both were removed unharmed and no glass was broken.

Two Violators Fined in Justice Hudson’s Court
Art Wilson of Vernon for dalliance a cay while intoxicated was fined 50 dollars and 7 dollars costs and jailed 60 days for nonpayment.
