Farmers Produce Co. Suffers Big Loss In Monday Fire
The Farmers Independent Produce Co store on West Fourth Street caught fire early Monday around 6 30 am. George Haring spotted the blaze as he walked to work and the flames started at the center of the building. Firefighters kept the blaze to the original quarters but dense smoke ruined the stock valued at about 7500 with 2000 damage to the building. Company officials are unsure of the cause and plan to reopen once insurance and stock arrangements are settled.

Farwell Man Burns In Kerosene Fire Accident
