Coleman businessman kills horse and cow Tuesday
Glen Poet, living near Eagle, was driving home with Ted Newman when Eugene Allen of Coleman struck a cow, killing a horse and injuring the wagon and crew. Allen escaped uninjured. Newman suffered minor bruises as the vehicle wrecked, and both cows and newborn calves were lost.
