Death of Clifford Jesse in Hatton Township
Clifford Jesse, a Hatton Township farmer, died from a shell explosion in the barn Thursday afternoon after returning from work. He leaves a wife Alice Eaton and seven children, with funeral services held at United Brothers Church in Harrison and burial in Maple Grove cemetery. Sheriff, coroner, and local officials investigated. his body was turned over to M. Fanning for burial arrangements.

Methodist Hymnals Dedicated In Sunday Service
Sunday morning a Methodist church service featured the dedication of new hymnals led by Rev. Geo Stanford with choir and audience participation.
