Under a new ordinance the City of Clare now offers perpetual care for Cherry Grove Cemetery lots for one hundred dollars per lot. The city binds to keep each lot mowed and cleaned indefinitely, funded by bank deposits or city loans approved by the Council and cemetery trustees.
Probate Court of Clare County Michigan orders hearing for Mary Etta Groom to appoint James S. Bicknell or another suitable person as administrator of Cornelius Balnes estate. Hearing set for June 1 1925 at 10 am at the Harrison probate office with public notice to run weekly in Clare Sentinel for three weeks.
Default on a September 29 1924 mortgage by George Mattinson and W M Mattinson to Forest F Bish prompts sale. On June 1935 1925 at 10 am the front door of Clare County Court House Harrison will auction the NE 1 4 of section 19 township 19 north range 5 west to cover $1103 72 plus costs and interest.
Rob ert Rose of Clare Michigan transferred property to Clare County Savings Bank. A mortgage dated December 18 1919 recorded December 17 1919 in Liber 32 page 188 secures 1162 40 and 30 attorney fees. It lists a public auction on June 23 1925 at 10 00 AM in Clare County to settle the debt and costs with the property described in section 22 township 17 north range 3 west with a highway strip and Tobacco River area referenced.
Miss Virginia Smedley who had mumps returned to school on Monday. Numerous visits involve Miss Ina Schofield, Beatrice Finch, and relatives from Lansing and Sears area. Denzil Tiedeman suffered a rusty eye while others visited family and prepared garden work.
