Rosebush Presbyterian Women Host Missionary Festival
The Rosebush Presbyterian Women held their annual Missionary Festival on Thursday night May 14 with guest speaker Mrs Comfort Nwabarra a Biafra native and nursery school teacher at C M U in Mt Pleasant Hostesses were Mrs Hugh Swindlehurst and Mrs Eldon Ballou. Supper guests of Mr and Mrs Jess Shaner included Mr and Mrs Robert Armstrong and family and the Wilkie and Shaner clans from Pleasant. Mrs Deluley visited relatives in Plymoth and Waukesha. Visitors to ge and Asa Prout included Jay Walker Farwell Edith Haggart Clare Dora Mogg and Eugene Lattimer Coleman and Robert Irwin.

Aerial survey finished in Clare documents a 4400 acre area with 9 by 9 inch photos at 4000 feet. Abrams Aerial Survey Corporation of Lansing produced prints enabling precise contour maps and tax assessments.
