Women Golfers Compete for Low Net on Ladies Day
The Twin Hills course hosted a three division blind holes contest on Wednesday Ladies Day with thirty luncheon guests and twenty eight golfers. Winners include Mrs Leo Hampton first division Mrs Elmer Comes second division and Mrs Henry Kinsel tied with Mrs Sam Wilkingon in the third division. The third division tie will be decided later. Next week will feature a low net score contest with morning play starting the following week. A full luncheon announcement will be made at 12:30 next Wednesday.

Mt Pleasant Pioneers End 1946 Baseball Season With Three Wins
The Mt Pleasant Pioneers finished their 1946 season with a 5-2 record. Clare beat Farwell 9-3 to start, Perry pitched well with 16 strikeouts in that victory. The team later fell to Mt Pleasant 5-3 and defeated Ewart 5-1. Joe McNerney made a sharp third out on a key Oiler rally, Jersey Joslin led with .363 batting average and Bud Rodabaugh hit .294.
