Harrison Michigan County Board Sees Lake Level Talks and Building Authority Action
The Harrison Board of Supervisors convened March 17 1965 with 23 members present. They discussed Arnold Lake water levels property owner actions and the County Building Authority elections and staffing, then adjourned for weather related delays and resumed March 22 and 24 with committee work and formal votes approving building authority candidates and a tax related assessment plan for lake restoration.

The Harrison county board met April 1 1965 with 22 members present. The Ways and Means and Building committees heard plans from architect Brusselbour and supervisors Case DeForest Carey. A motion to submit two basement plan sets failed. one to draw plans for full basement also failed. Welfare official addressed merging bureaus. The board approved a 700 payment to R S Scott Engineering for Arnold Lake work and per diem/mileage reports were authorized for warrants from the General Fund.
