Pursuit of Peace or Prez Washington Meddling Exposed

A U S newspaper column from 1937-38 condemns the Roosevelt administration for a string of pro peace gestures and foreign policy speeches. It accuses officials like Hull Ickes and Woodring of pressuring world powers and pushing a planned peace economy to provoke fear and justify emergency measures. The piece argues such acts threaten to embroil the U.S. in war and urges vigilance against meddling in other nations.
