Melvin Stevens Narrow Escape From Shotgun Wound
Melvin Stevens fifteen son of Mr and Mrs Ralph Stevens accidentally shot himself in the abdomen while cleaning a small revolver in a shed behind his home last Saturday. He was taken to Bay City for X rays showing the bullet lodged between the ribs with no vital organ damage. Surgeons decided against surgery and he is recovering at home.
