The Board of Trustees approved a $710 102 working budget for the 1971 72 fiscal year at the May 4 meeting, up $68 600 from last year. A Planning and Review Committee of five administrators and five faculty prepared the plan. The college, with about 800 students this year, plans for 1 000 this fall and cautions that state or local income changes may alter the budget. Curtis Murton, Director of Business Affairs, noted a possible $23 000 deficit this year but an all out effort aims to eliminate it.
