Clarence W Nielsen a Dow Chemical Co facilities engineer has been appointed to fill a Coleman Board of Education vacancy. He will serve until the June school election when he will run for the remaining two years. Coho Salmon Report From St. Clair River Angler
An angler from St. Clair land a coho weighing 2 1/4 pounds and 18 inches long on a flatfish from a dock. Clyde Springborn of 1539 Oakland, St. Clair, was the unnamed fisherman. Fisheries biologists identify the fish as a Coho and note uncertainty about its origin whether from the Big Huron River or Platte River and Bear Creek water systems.
