Juniors Present Class Play Tonight At Clare High
The Clare juniors led by Miss Ruth Hardie stage the three act comedy Come Out of The Kitchen produced by special arrangement with Samuel French. State Board backs paving on U S 27 and Harrison gravel road

Mrs. Andrew Nevills died of pneumonia at her daughter’s home and was buried Monday after funeral services at the Baptist church led by Rev. A. P. MacDonald. Born Alice Sheldon in Ingham County January 31 1877 she spent her youth in Clare and married Richard Northey before moving to Iowa and later returning to the city. Survived by her husband a daughter Grace a grandson and many relatives and friends. Miss Myrtle Methner died in Detroit last week after a brief pneumonia illness. An eighteen year old daughter of John Methner she had lately resided west of Coleman. Funeral services were held Wednesday from her home and from the Cole man L.C.D. church.

Examinations for seventh and eighth grade pupils in Clare county rural schools will be held May 17 and 18 beginning at eight o'clock in the forenoon. A one and a half story frame residence at the north end of Cedar Street opposite the cemetery, owned by Mrs. Doris Loveless, burned Thursday noon. Loss estimated at 2500 dollars.
