Death Claims Eugene Fisher in Pontiac
Eugene Fisher 59 of Pontide died after a three day illness in Pontiac hospital. He was the son of Mrs Minnie Fisher and brother of Mrs George Bryant. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Huntoon Funeral Home in Pontiac with burial in White Chapel Cemetery. His wife had died about three years ago.

George T. Tope of Clare died at home on Mckinar Street Saturday evening, March 34, after a five year illness from a heart condition. Funeral services were held today March 26 at Stephenson's Funeral Home with Rev W Brinkman officiating. Burial followed in New Cumberland Cemetery, West Virginia.

Celebrated 93rd Birthday at Masonic Home Alina
S. H. Nelson aged 93 celebrated at the Masonic Home in Alina where he resides. He came to this country from Sweden at age ten, attended Ferris Institute, and served as a depot agent for Pere Marquette then C&O. Knight Templar and Blue Lodge member, he moved to the Masonic Home in 1941 and remains active. he has two sons, two daughters, thirteen grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

One Man Crime Spree Suspect Arrested in Clare Case
Edward William Church, 20, of Coleman waived examination in Clare Municipal Court on grand larceny charges after allegedly stealing a car on Saturday.
