East Vernon Extension Group Meets at Mrs. Samborn Home
An afternoon meeting of the East Vernon Extension Group hosted by Mrs. Wilson Samborn on February 22 had eight members present who shared Washington themed quotes. They signed a get well card for Mrs. Joyce McDonald, who had just returned from Mt. Pleasant hospital, and planned to deliver flowers. Leaders Mrs. Maggie Ackerman and Mrs. Rose Northon displayed material and new smock pillows to be made at the March 22 session. The group played concentrate and served Washington birthday themed refreshments.
