She confessed to the ruse after State Police traced her, revealing she had been missing since June 4 and had been with another boy in Bay City.

Clare fire department responded to a fire at the Norm Lackie residence on East Third Street at 4 15 AM Tuesday. The overheated motor in an electric refrigerator caused the blaze, but occupants extinguished it before firefighters arrived and only the motor was damaged.
