Three Men From Clare County Enter Induction

Clare Osteopathic Hospital will dedicate a $600000 two story addition on Sixth Street with open house Sunday June 11 at 1:30 pm. The wing increases bed capacity and adds modern surgical, x ray, lab, emergency, pediatric and dietary services as Phase A.
Birdsall Home Lost In Five-hour Blaze
The Birdsall residence three miles north of Clare was destroyed after a five hour fire. Firefighters used more than 24 000 gallons of water with Clare and Harrison departments supplying tanker water. Loss was estimated at at least 10 000 dollars. The couple were away when the blaze started and a cause was not determined.

New Day For Food Issue At Clare County DSS
Clare County Department of Social Services announces a shift in surplus food distribution. Distributions occur on the fourth Tuesday of each month with no Wednesday pickups.
