Seeing God in Our Present World Lesson Text
The study argues that God owns both material and spiritual realms and that human understanding fails to grasp divine wisdom. It cites Job 38 41 as God speaks from the storm, contrasts Elihu's flawed reasoning with divine truth, and extols creation as evidence of God’s order, life control, and the limits of human knowledge.

Willie Wells and the Boxwood Inn Fishing Clash
Willie Wells returns from Seward's Creek with trout when a visitor at the Boxwood Inn admonishes him. He retorts that fish would stay quiet if they kept their mouths shut, then jokes about the visitor resembling a fish being bitten. The piece argues for tolerance of personal tastes in beer and fishing.
