Farmers Week Draws 37 Groups to College Meetings
Thirty seven farmers organizations plan meetings at the College during Farmers Week February 3 to 7. Many hold annual meetings and elect officers while others gather to align policy with majority campus opinion. Funeral for James Grogan Held At St Celia Church

Fifty Cases Handled Through Prosecutor Office Since July
In a six month report for July 1 to December 31, 1929, T Carl Holbreck Clare county prosecuting attorney lists fifty cases handled. Forty nine convictions were secured. one case discharged on lack of evidence. Other cases involved drunkenness disorderly conduct indecency operating motor vehicles larceny and weapons violations.

Two Day Poultry School At Harrison

Home Talent Play Pronounced Success in Clare
The Sympson and Levie Company staged a home talent play in Clare last Thursday and Friday with over eleven hundred paid admissions and about one hundred cast and staff. Local ministers recommended the project, eighty to eighty five men performed, and the cast included many amateurs showing notable talent. The production brought together church and non church members, city and country residents, and was praised as wholesome entertainment benefiting the community.
