Department of State Highways announced nine travel information centers drew more than 875000 visitors in 1970 down from 1969 but above 1968. Monroe led centers with 150927 and Clare 141775. other totals include Port Huron 122168 Coldwater 119290 Mackinaw City 106421 New Buffalo 92853 Sault Ste Marie 70295 Menominee 37887 Ironwood 33559. About 29 million pieces of information material were distributed.
