Mrs O H Breen Dies In Sleep In Clare Michigan
Mrs O H Breen a longtime Clare resident died peacefully in her sleep at the Breen home early Tuesday morning found by her husband. She was born Cora Catalina Fee January 9 1885 in Bellevue Kentucky and married Obbia H Breen October 6 1906 in St Louis Missouri. Surviving are her husband two daughters Mrs Jacob Walker of Saginaw and Mrs Philip Myrand of El Paso Texas one son Herbert of Clare five grandchildren eight nieces and nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 30 pm at Thurston Funeral Home with Rev Charles B Hahn officiating and interment in Cherry Grove cemetery. Her favorite hymns will be sung by Mrs David Mair. The daughter Marguerite was expected to arrive from El Paso late Thursday evening and all three children will attend.

Dr J G White son of Mr and Mrs George White of Clare opens optometry offices Monday January 21 1946 in the second floor of the White Jewelry store building. He is a Northern Illinois College of Optometry graduate with honors and served five years in the U S Army including overseas with the Third Army. He was wounded captured and later liberated earning the Purple Heart Silver Star and campaign ribbons. The new offices feature a reception room a bright examination room and an orthoptic room and are inviting the public to visit.
