Miss Betty Hildebrandt spent holiday vacation at her parental home in Alma. Sunday visitors included Mr. and Mrs. Willard Wolfe and children and Miss Vergeline Sanders from Alma, and Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Leit ner and family from Gladwin. Earl Sanders, Bernard Allen, and others hosted social calls as residents gathered at several homes. A funeral for Mrs. Archbold in Clare was attended by Mrs. Carl Sanders and others. The Ladies Aid meeting is set for January 11 at Mrs. Bernard Allen’s. Betty Hildebrandt and Albert Hildebrandt were guests at the Earl Sanders home. New Year’s Day callers included Mr. and Mrs. John Brubaker at the Har Sanders home.

Wm Hileman of Laredo Texas is home on a fifteen day furlough visiting relatives and friends. John Heintz of Lily Lale visited the Moder Heintz home over the holidays. Mr and Mrs August Hoskey visited the home of his parents near Alma Sunday. His mother Mrs Tony Hoskey is not well. Mrs Gerald Gould and sons of Greenville visited the Seb Plannes home over the holidays.
