Farwell Man Arrested For Check Passing At Local Cafe
George Allen Davis of Parkview Hotel Farwell was arrested ten minutes after police and the prosecutor were alerted to a series of bad checks. He allegedly passed seven of eight checks totaling 508.88 earning 353 in cash before trying to cash the last at Citizens Bank. Davis, a former cook at US 10 Cafe, was arraigned and jailed on a 2500 bond on a felony charge that could carry up to 14 years in prison.
