Franklin Addison Lower, lifelong Sheridan township resident, died December 8 1947 at Clare Michigan hospital at age 86. He was born March 29 1861 in Steuben County Ohio and married Lilie May Deck December 31 1892. Injured in Icy Clare Auto Wreck In Irwin Family
An auto crash two miles south of Clare on US 27 last Friday left three members of the Wm Irwin and Fred Irwin families injured. Mrs Irwin suffered brain concussion and scalp lacerations, with hemorrhage and numerous contusions, and was hospitalized until Wednesday. Fred Irwin sustained severe sprains and contusions and spent 48 hours in the Clare Hospital. Mrs Bila Pilgrim, not in the Irwin group, fractured her right ankle after slipping on ice and was admitted with a cast applied.
