Frederick William Trietch died December 15 1937 after a brief illness at his son's home. He was born October 27 1861 in Holgate Ohio and married Anna L Miller March 1 1887. He lived in Clare Michigan and Lansing before spending much of his time in Ohio. Survived by four children , five brothers and one sister in Ohio, ten grandchildren, and other relatives. Funeral held at Thurston Funeral Home with Rev M R Honderich officiating, burial beside his wife in Cherry Grove Cemetery. Distances traveled by relatives included Cleveland Napoleon Detroit and Cadillac.

Bank building sold to Isaiah Leebove in Clare County
Receiver Allan Graham of Farwell issued a warranty deed to Isaiah Leebove of this city for the Clare County Savings Bank building including safes and vaults. The purchase price was $12,000 and the transfer was approved in the Clare County Circuit Court in Harrison. Rumors say Leebove may open a new bank in Clare. he declined to commit. The building, erected in 1922, last housed the bank until 1932 and has since been used by the receiver and briefly by the District WPA.
