Gilmore Pioneer Mary Jane Leek Dies at 69
Mary Jane Leek of Gilmore township Jackson county born June 14 1855 in Waterloo died November 26 1924 aged 69 6 11. She married Franklin Wolfer in 1875 and had two daughters Lillie Graham and Sadie McNeil. The family moved from Jackson to Isabella to Gilmore then Farwell and finally Mt Pleasant. Funeral preached by Brother Holmes from Second Timothy was held at the home and she is buried in Gilmore cemetery.

George W. McKay died at his daughter Miss Ella's home in Grant township on Friday November 28 at age 92 years 5 months 24 days. The funeral was held Tuesday December 2 conducted by Rev. James Fenton Obituary in Vernon Township
James Fenton died Wednesday at age 89 years 7 months and 37 days at his daughter Mrs Ralph Harrington’s home in Vernon township. He formerly lived in Dover. John W Hampton born July 26 1841 in Meigs County Ohio served as a corporal in the Civil War from August 1861 and died after answering the summons November 28 1924.
