Pair With Illegal Doe In Car Grab Arrests
Conservation Officer Don Bell reports two violators arrested Sunday November 28 for illegal venison. Kenny K. Canton 33 of Mt. Clemens and Marvin A. Robles 36 of Harper Woods were found with a dead doe in the trunk. They appeared before Municipal Judge William Dunlop, were fined 68 dollars each plus 3.50 dollars in court costs and conservation costs, and had licenses suspended for three years.

Madia Dell Allen Montney a lifelong Clare County resident died at home on Hatton Road at 9:00 Sunday morning November 21 1954 after three weeks illness. Born July 19 1884 to James and Frances Allen she married Clayton Moutney December 20 1905. Survived by daughter Mildred Lawson Wyandotte two sons Dale and Robert both Wyandotte twelve grandchildren four great grandchildren one brother Scott Clare and other relatives. Services at Clare Methodist Church officiated by Rev Carlos I Malson and Rev L J Neving. Thurston Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
