Huge Gas Flow Found in Freeman Township Well
Indications of a second large gas field near Clare County emerge after the Perkins No. 1 well in Freeman township produced a 16,000,000 cubic feet gas flow in the stray sand at 1468 to 1485 feet. McClanahan Oil Co. killed the flow with water and will resume drilling toward Dundee in search of oil.
