First Lieutenant Stanley E B Kleiner received an honorable discharge from the Army Air Corps at Hobbs New Mexico on the point basis with ninety eight points. He enlisted June 30 1941 and served six months in Italy and England as a B 17 bomber pilot flying thirty five missions. He and his wife are visiting Mr and Mrs Lyle Bond in Los Angeles California.

Chas. H. Lamphere a Wise township pioneer for nearly fifty years died at his farm home Monday morning. Born 1876 in Milford Oakland County Michigan he moved to Wise township in 1896. He married twice and had six children eight grandchildren two brothers survive him. Lamphere served as township supervisor and belonged to Herrick Methodist Church.

A new two-unit complex rises from 36 by 150 feet for office and egg grading with a 1200-case capacity cooler, and a grain elevator 72 feet tall with 23 000 bushel storage.
